Unrelated suprise Marauder
When you talk about mid April weather in the Midwest, what comes to mind? Sunshine after a long winter, grass seeing daylight for the first time, birds singing in the trees?
No.
Instead what we get is 10-20 inches of snow apparently. Look upon the great white menace that we’ve been dealing with all morning.
The S600 got covered in snow in the time it took to get the LS400 into the garage.

We go the snow on Thursday, it’s finally started to melt. Usually by this time of the year I can mountain bike all the trails lower than 3500 feet, not this year, still crap tons of snow everywhere.

Well, I saw a red 65-66 Mustang coupe on the road right by my house this afternoon, with fresh raised white (blue) lettered tires, so isn’t that a sign of spring, despite the fact that it’s 38, drizzling, and the winds are gusting to 45 mph?

You can’t shake off winter while down here we still haven’t seen off summer. Just day after day of mid 30 degree (mid 80 fahrenheits) sunny weather...I know which I’d prefer.

My wife’s boss has been stuck in Arizona for a few extra days trying to get back home to Minneapolis*. Yet here in Chicago, all we get is a light drizzle, boo.
*He actually returned to Minneapolis last week, from vacation in California, immediately decided it was too cold and booked a flight for the next day to go to Arizona just to be somewhere warm because he was tired of it.

My cousin is a pilot for sun country, and they were pretty much the only domestic airline flying out of MSP earlier today, but I think even they are grounded now.
